SYNCD is the world’s first smart inner tube featuring an integrated battery powered Bluetooth pressure sensor that delivers real-time tire pressure monitoring directly to your devices.
Tubo-Road SYNCD is a smart inner tube featuring an integrated, battery powered Bluetooth pressure sensor that delivers real-time tire pressure monitoring directly to your devices. Fully compatible with Garmin, Android, and iOS, Tubo-Road SYNCD connects effortlessly to your preferred cycling platform.
Set personalized minimum and maximum pressure thresholds to ensure your tires always stay within the ideal performance range.
In case of a puncture or sudden pressure loss, Tubo-Road SYNCD instantly sends an alert, allowing you to react quickly and ride safely.
Tubolito SYNCD is currently available in the following markets: EU, US, UK, Switzerland, Iceland, Monaco, Norway and Liechtenstein.
Battery life can vary depending on usage and conditions. Faster battery depletion may occur due to frequent syncing, long rides with continuous tracking, or exposure to extreme temperatures (very hot or very cold).
The Tubolito SYNCD battery is designed to last up to 10,000 km or 2 years. To ensure continued performance, we offer our battery replacement program:
We replace the battery and fully test the sensor to new-product standards before reusing it in a new Tubo-Road SYNCD—ensuring the same performance and reliability.
In the first launch wave, Tubo-Road SYNCD will be available in the EU, US, UK, Switzerland, Iceland, Monaco, Norway and Liechtenstein. SYNCD is FCC and EC approved. Further market launches will be communicated as soon aspossible.
On average, batteries last about two years, depending on usage und conditions (for instance exposure to extreme temperatures).
The battery is not replaceable. When the SYNCD sensor reaches the end of its life cycle, you can contact Tubolito directly to participate in the battery exchange program. You can find more information in the section above on this page
Alternatively, the sensor can be disposed of as electronic waste once its service life ends.
Tubolito SYNCD can be mounted just like any regular Tubolito tube. Connections to smartphones and Garmin devices are handled via the SYNCD Apps.
At the moment, SYNCD is only available in Tubo-Road geometry. We’ll share updates about including other tubes in our lineup on www.tubolito.com.
Feel free to subscribe to our newsletter for regular updates and speial offers.
Yes – at the the moment we only support Garmin’s platform. We are working to expand compatibility in the future.

Say goodbye to flats ruining your ride. The X-Tubo is one of the toughest inner tubes out there—engineered for maximum durability and made to take a beating.
And for extra peace of mind, it comes with a 1-year replacement puncture replacement. Ride hard, ride far, and let us worry about the rest.
All Tubolitos are made from the high-tech plastic TPU. TPU has been used successfully in the industry for many years and is valued for its outstanding performance.
The founders of Tubolito, Ákos Kertész and Christian Lembacher, have been working with TPU since before founding Tubolito and have built up extensive expertise over the years.
The combination of TPU with a patented manufacturing process makes it possible for Tubolitos to be small, lightweight, and at the same time puncture-resistant. These properties can be optimized depending on what is required from the Tubolito.
Tubo: The perfect tube for everyday use – more robust and lighter than conventional butyl tubes. Combining performance and durability, it’s the smart upgrade for any bike.
S-Tubo: Light as a feather and compact due to reduced wall thickness – extremely low rolling resistance. Perfect as a spare tube. S-Tubos achieve very similar results in the needle puncture test as much heavier rubber tubes.
X-Tubo: No Flat Tube – extremely durable. Designed for everyday riding with maximum resistance to punctures and includes a 1-year replacement policy for registered X-Tubos on our website.
Standard pump heads require at least 15 mm of valve to remain above the rim for proper inflation.
To choose the correct valve length, use this simple rule:
Valve length – Rim height ≥ 15 mm
So, subtract your rim height (in mm) from the valve length (in mm). If the result is 15 mm or more, the valve will work with standard pump heads.

The maximum and minimum air pressure for using Tubolitos depends on the tire being used. Please always follow the pressure specifications provided on the tire.
Important: Tubolitos must not be inflated to more than 0.5 bar / 7 psi when outside the tire. Overinflating them outside the tire can lead to deformation and damage.
We have had the rolling resistance of our products tested by an independent body. The following graphs show the results:

As the graph below indicates, Tubos have similar characteristics concerning air retention as rubber tubes.

Yes — if a puncture occurs, you can easily repair the inner tube using our specially developed Tubo-Patch Kit, designed specifically for TPU tubes.
Important: Repair kits made for butyl rubber tubes are not compatible with Tubolitos.
Our story began with research into a durable material for smartphone speaker membranes — one that was light, thin, and extremely resilient.
Technicians and passionate mountain bikers Christian Lembacher and Akos Kertesz quickly realized that the newly developed high-tech material TPU was perfectly suited for bicycle inner tubes — a true revolution in the cycling world, where tubes had previously only been made of rubber or latex.
Our mission has always been to create bicycle inner tubes that are not only lightweight and robust, but also significantly enhance the performance and safety of bicycles.
